HOLIDAY PARTY MUST HAVES: Glitter-Rama
Guest Post By Hayley
I don’t need a reason to dress my daughter in glitter. Glitter is like all year around, 24/7 give me the glitter. All the time glitter. But the holidays make dressing up with glitter even more fun.

My five-year-old daughter Elke only wants to wear tank tops with cardigans. “I’m too hot, Mommy,” she says. This fair isle cardigan from Le Big with metallic yarn (that’s right, scream it, METALLIC YARN) is perfect with a skirt. Perfect over a dress. And when the holiday is over, and she wants to bling out in something bright and cheery with a pair of jeans--this is your sweater.

I just bought Elke these sequin boots from Kohl’s that Melissa used in her Dirt & Noise photo shoot (which she will be publishing on the blog very soon.)

Every holiday party needs a kid in a twirly skirt. This Everbloom skirt (in big girls and baby sizes) is like the prerequisite skirt for the holidays. Sparkle belt. You absolutely can’t go wrong.

Le Big Deep Red Tights with bling argyle is probably one of my favorite holiday accessory because even if your daughter is telling you that she wants to wear the same exact black dress that she’s been wearing all year—if you can manage to slip these tights on her, her holiday look is DONE.

So you have a Hanukkah party coming up and you don’t want something too dressy—Molo’s Amy Sparkle Jeans are the cutest blend of sophisticated and cool. (With stretch!) Plus the fabric on the inside is super soft for those girls with sensitive legs. (Oh my God, do I have one of those sensitive legs girls.) My daughter runs around in these jeans like she IS the queen of the universe and then does five million cartweels in them because they’re THAT COMFORTABLE. Plus, for holiday purposes, pair them with the fair isle cardigan and show THAT to your uptight mother-in-law.
